Why I Built This

I love reading. Books have taught me more about life, habits, money, relationships, and purpose than anything else. I wish more people read—but I know most people won't sit down with a 300-page book.

So I built a new way to access the eternal wisdom inside books: a daily conversation with a book tutor who has deeply studied each book and discusses it with you, one-on-one.

Conversation is how humans have always learned best. Not passive listening—real discussion. Every session is interactive—your tutor explains the key ideas, then asks you questions to make sure you actually understand them. It's not a lecture, it's a real conversation.

I started with self-development books because they're the most generally applicable - useful no matter who you are or where you are in life. But I'm actively working to expand into other genres. I'd love to hear your suggestions and feedback on what you'd like to see next.

Common Questions

TL;DR?
2 new books every week, delivered to your inbox. Each session is a 10–30 minute voice conversation—like talking to a tutor who read the book for you. Your AI tutor explains the core ideas, quizzes you, and discusses insights back and forth. Plans start at just $4.99 for your first month. Zero reading required.
What is a book tutor?
Your book tutor is an AI-powered voice agent that you talk to out loud. It's an expert on that day's book, and its only mission is to help you understand and learn the key concepts. It explains ideas, asks you questions, responds to yours, and adapts to your level—like a private tutor who has read the book cover to cover.
Is this a real person or AI?
Your book tutor is powered by AI—specifically, a voice agent built on the latest conversational AI technology. It sounds natural, responds in real time, and adapts to you. Think of it as the world's leading expert in that specific book you're talking about, and their sole purpose is to tutor you in its contents, available any time of day.
Do I need to have read the books?
No—that's the whole point. Your book tutor walks you through everything. You'll understand the key ideas as if you'd read it yourself.
What do I need to get started?
A device with a microphone and an internet connection. Sessions happen in your browser—no app required.
How long is each session?
However long fits your schedule—the limit is 30 minutes per book. I find 20 minutes is enough to get the basics, but you can go deeper if you have the time.
Do I have to use all 30 minutes in one sitting?
Nope—you can split your time however you like. Do 10 minutes on your morning commute and 15 minutes before bed, or knock it all out in one session. Whatever's most convenient for you.
What if I miss a day?
No worries—each session link stays active for 60 days. Go at your own pace and use them whenever works best for you.
How do I interact with the tutor?
Just talk to it like you would a real person. You can interrupt, push the conversation forward, or slow it down. Tell it things like "keep your answers shorter," "explain that again," or "please wait while I think about this." Experiment and see what works best for you - the tutor adapts to your style.
Why not just use ChatGPT?
You could—but you probably won't. The magic here is the structure: a curated curriculum of the best books, delivered on a schedule so you actually follow through. Each tutor is purpose-built for one book with a deep knowledge base, not a generic chatbot guessing from memory. And it's voice-first—you talk and listen like a real conversation, not type and read. Think of it like the difference between having a gym membership and having a personal trainer who shows up at your door.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime from your account—no questions asked. You'll keep access to any sessions you've already received.

"There is no difference between the person who cannot read and the person who will not read."
— Jim Rohn
